Boris and I met in 1997 working at Mathsoft, Inc., a software company on Main Street in Cambridge, MA. It was the 16th floor of an office building and Boris had a corner office. He kept a lot of books in his office, on shelves, stacked on the floor and on his desk. Taking a walk down memory lane, here are some pictures of him hanging out in that corner office.

Dear Boris,

I dug deep into the storage eaves of my current home, took a walk down memory lane in honor of your 50 th birthday, and reflected on some wonderful times in the late 1990s. Your consistent homage to my postcard collection held strong for many years and serves as good

documentation for your travels from late 1997-2001. These range from your work travel, some independent travel and your backpacking adventure with Misha.

I also still have the Fortune Magazine where Centrata was featured.

Lastly, the magnetic card of my favorite painting still is in tact today, complete with the card. It seems appropriate to end this birthday message with a nod to Chicago.

Happy Birthday! Enjoy your time with family and friends!
