I am terrible with taking photos, and don't have many good photos of adventures that I've managed to save. Here is one photo that I did manage to find (attached) from our cousins & families Memorial Day retreat from 2019. But also, here is a little memory that comes to mind; hopefully Boris likes it!
Dear Boris, to my super brilliant, always interesting, uniquely talented cousin, happy birthday!! A memory: Every time I drive north to the dacha I pass a place on the New York State Thruway that reminds me of the drive we took to Storm King Art Center that one time over a decade ago. The late summer greenery, the massive steel Serras and di Suveros, the delicate Snelson tensegrity sculptures, the Andy Goldsworthy stone wall in the woods, the conversation about art and architecture, books and politics. It was then, with you at Storm King, that I first understood how passionate about art you really were, and a small preview of the fascinating innovations that you were going to unleash upon the art world! Hope you have a very happy birthday, and hope to see you soon in person! Much love, Nick
