Conversations with father
by Nadia Pevzner
Sometimes my memory will travel to when you were a little boy and your father was young like in this photograph. I remember the countless times you spent together.
He taught you how to read, and then you started reading by yourself at the age of 3, and a book became your constant companion in life. Your father encouraged you to ask questions about things you read in books and saw around you:. Why does it rain? Why is the sky blue? How does a camera work? How do airplanes fly? What makes a rainbow? Why can't you blow square bubbles? And when he was explaining all those things to you, he was doing it in a way that made you think and create your own ideas. Thus the interest in science was born and lovingly nourished.
Your father is no longer with us but when I see how you talk with your sons, Oscar and Victor, it reminds me of your conversations with father who loved you so much.
Happy Birthday dear Borechka!
